Wallets are the players

Every registered wallet gets a career card: season records, playoff runs, championships, best trade, worst drawdown. A wallet builds a competitive reputation the same way an athlete builds a career.

Rankings are risk-adjusted — 45% realized return, 25% drawdown control, 20% consistency, 10% quality entries. Turning $2K into $3K with discipline beats gambling $500K to make $20K.

Register for Season Zero
How it works

Sign up. Link a wallet. Compete.

You need two things to play: an account and a verified wallet. The account is your identity in the league; the wallet is your player. Linking is done by signing a message — no funds ever move, no approvals are requested.

01

Create your account

Pick a trader name and secure it with an email + password. This is your permanent league identity — your card, your record, your seasons all attach to it.

02

Link & verify your wallet

Connect Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack and sign a one-time verification message. The signature proves you own the wallet — that makes your account verifiable, and your results impossible to fake.

03

Register for the season

You're placed into a division by wallet size. Trading activity is tracked onchain for 14 days and scored on risk-adjusted performance.

04

Make the playoffs

Top 16 enter the bracket. 24–48 hour rounds, highest risk-adjusted score advances. One wallet becomes champion — permanently.

Scoring

Skill beats size

45%

Realized return

Closed-position performance over the season. Paper gains don't count until you take them.

25%

Max drawdown

Risk control is scored, not just rewarded. Blowing up your stack costs you rank even in a green season.

20%

Consistency

Steady performance across the season outranks one lucky trade. Streaks show on your card.

10%

Quality wins

Profitable entries made before a token had already run. Rewards conviction, not chasing.

Divisions

Fair fights by bankroll

Traders are seeded by wallet size so a $1K trench wallet never has to out-earn a whale. Promotion and relegation between seasons.

Rookie

Under $2,500

The proving ground. Rookie tournament winners get spotlighted league-wide.

Contender

$2.5K – $10K

Where reputations start. Promotion to Pro is earned, not bought.

Pro

$10K – $50K

Serious size, serious scoring. Drawdown control decides this division.

Elite

$50K+

The main stage. Elite matchups headline every week of the season.

Later seasons

Teams, rivalries, events

Desks

Five-trader teams with a logo, combined score, roster page, and transfer windows between seasons. Trench United vs Exit Liquidity is a headline waiting to happen.

Event formats

Rivalry weeks, rookie tournaments, invitationals, token-specific events, and sudden-death trading windows.

Token utility

Season Zero runs without a token. Later: tournament entry, desk creation, cosmetics, matchup predictions, and permanent profile badges — never "hold this and receive profits."

Head-to-head matchups

Weekly matchups add wins and losses to each wallet's permanent record. Higher risk-adjusted score over the window takes the W.

How THE FLOOR works

Everything about accounts, wallet verification, scoring, divisions, seasons, playoffs, and permanent records.

What THE FLOOR is

THE FLOOR is a permanent onchain trading league on Solana. It is not a one-off leaderboard: it is structured like a sports league. Wallets are the players, markets are the arena, and every trade affects your record. The league runs in recurring seasons; each season ends with a playoff bracket and one recognized champion, and every result stays attached to your profile forever.

Accounts & verification

Competing requires two things: an account (your league identity — trader name, email, password) and a verified wallet (your player). You link a wallet by connecting Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack and signing a one-time verification message.

  • Signing is not a transaction. No funds move, no fees are paid, no token approvals are requested — ever.
  • The message contains your trader name, the site domain, a random nonce, and a timestamp, so it cannot be replayed or reused by anyone else.
  • The signature cryptographically proves you own the wallet. That is what makes your account — and every result on your card — verifiable.
  • THE FLOOR never asks for your seed phrase or private key. Anyone who does is scamming you.

Season structure

A season lasts 14 days (later seasons may run 30). The flow:

  • Register — create an account, verify a wallet, and enter the season before the cap fills (Season Zero: 250 wallets).
  • Placement — you are seeded into a division based on wallet size at the season snapshot.
  • Regular season — your onchain trading activity is tracked and scored throughout.
  • Playoffs — the top 16 risk-adjusted scores enter the bracket.
  • Championship — one wallet wins, and the banner never leaves its card.

Scoring — why raw profit doesn't rank you

Ranking by raw profit lets the richest wallet win automatically, and volume can be faked. THE FLOOR scores skill, weighted like this:

  • 45% — Realized return. Closed-position performance. Unrealized gains don't count until taken.
  • 25% — Maximum drawdown. Risk control is scored directly. Blowing up your stack costs rank even in a profitable season.
  • 20% — Consistency. Steady performance across the season beats one lucky trade.
  • 10% — Quality wins. Profitable entries made before a token had already run significantly — rewarding conviction over chasing.

Under this system, a trader who turns $2,000 into $3,000 with controlled risk can rank above someone who made $20,000 while risking $500,000.

Divisions, promotion & relegation

Traders are separated by wallet size so smaller wallets compete fairly: Rookie (under $2,500), Contender ($2,500–$10,000), Pro ($10,000–$50,000), Elite ($50,000+), plus an Open table combining everyone. Exact limits can change each season. Strong performance earns promotion; weak seasons can mean relegation.

Matchups & events

The leaderboard runs all season, but weekly head-to-head matchups make it social: two wallets, one window, higher risk-adjusted score takes the W — and the result is added to each wallet's permanent record. Planned formats include rivalry weeks, rookie tournaments, invitationals, token-specific events, and sudden-death trading windows.

Playoffs

The top 16 traders enter a bracket: Round of 16 → Quarterfinals → Semifinals → Championship. Each round is a 24–48 hour trading window; whoever posts the higher risk-adjusted score advances. Playoffs are live events people can watch — not a static leaderboard.

Permanent records & player cards

Every wallet gets a collectible-style card tracking: current ranking, career earnings and return, seasons played, playoff appearances, championships, best trade, worst drawdown, win rate, highest division reached, and current streak. This permanent identity is the core of the league — a wallet builds a real competitive reputation over time.

Teams ("desks")

In later seasons, traders can form five-player desks with a logo, combined season score, team record, public roster, and transfer periods between seasons — building loyalty beyond individual wallets.

Token

Season Zero runs without depending on a token — the league proves itself first. Later, the token's utility covers tournament entry, desk creation, profile cosmetics, sponsored prize pools, matchup predictions, advanced statistics, format voting, and permanent badges. It will never be "hold this and receive trading profits."

Revenue & prize pools

The league earns through tournament entry fees, season passes, sponsored competitions, premium profiles, advanced analytics, team registration, cosmetics, and featured tournaments. A percentage of entry fees funds prize pools.

Privacy & security

  • Wallet linking uses connect() + signMessage() only — read-only, keyless, no transaction.
  • Trade tracking reads public onchain data. The league never has custody or trading permissions over your wallet.
  • You can compete under a trader name; your wallet address is already public onchain.

FAQ

Do I need to move funds to compete? No. You trade from your own wallet like you already do; the league only reads and scores public activity.

Can I link more than one wallet? One verified wallet per account per season — one player, one record.

What if I miss the cap? Registration reopens every season, and your account carries over.

Where are announcements posted? Daily matchup coverage and season news on X: @thefloorxyz.

Step 1 of 3

Create your account

Your account is your league identity. In step 2 you'll link a wallet and verify it with a signature — that's what makes your record verifiable.
